YOU CAN’T SELL SOMETHING YOU DON’T TRULY BELIEVE IN
Our company and products are such extensions of ourselves that we consider them additional members of our family. It’s a pure, genuine belief in our product that drives us to pour ourselves so completely into growing and expanding our company.
That means creating every Bantam to be delicious, fun, and easy so that it’s something we would want to eat ourselves every single day.
The day I told Elyse about the idea for mini stuffed bagels, it made us both drop everything and say, “we have to try this!” We spent months testing batch after batch of bagels, proofing dough in every corner of our Brooklyn apartment (including our laundry closet—an excellent choice for proper humidity and darkness needed for dough!), and experimenting with mixing every flavor imaginable into cream cheese.
From the very beginning, our mini stuffed bagels made us smile in an eyebrow-raising, eyes-lighting-up, “we’ve got something here” kind of way. The pancakes grew out of our same desire to whip up a quick batch of pancakes—a favorite weekend treat in our family—and make it easy while still being mouth-wateringly delicious.
Selling something we truly love and believe in has become the crux of what we do. That love and passion translates into a “work isn’t work,” Monday’s don’tt exist anymore, kind of feeling towards our day.
We are so lucky to be able to share a piece of what we love with each and every one of you. When we see a box of Bantams on the shelf, we hope that you see mini Elyses and Nicks jumping up and down, waving at you, saying, “Try me! Try me! Try me!”
